Cinco de Mayo

We are excited to be planning our 2020 Cinco de Mayo celebration set for Saturday, May 2nd at Yantis Park in Milton-Freewater. Once again this year, you will be able to see the largest pinata in the Valley. It will be a new design that all will enjoy.
The fiesta begins with a parade at 11am. It will start at 8th & North Main and will end at Yantis Park. Activities in the park include dancing, music, games, royalty, food and vendors. A soccer tournament will be held at nearby fields.
Volunteer
We are seeking volunteers to help in the following areas:

Help Build the Largest Pinata in the Valley

Acquire Food & Retail Vendors

Set Up Games at the Park

Work the Individual Games at the Park (2-Hour Shifts)

Assist with Pinata Contest

Sponsor
We are also seeking financial support for this year's event. The success of this event is dependent entirely upon the financial support from our sponsors. As a sponsor, you will be recognized across all social media, verbal recognition during the festival, and your company logo at the Festival Main Stage. Sponsors who donate $500 or more will also have their company logo on flyers and posters. Parade
The Milton Freewater Cinco de Mayo “Community United” committee is excited to announce our upcoming 8th annual Cinco de Mayo festival on Saturday May 2nd at Yantis Park. We would love to have you participate in this 2020 parade. Please take the opportunity to participate in this event and join us as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo in a wonderful town we call home. The parade is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am. Parade check-in will start at 10:00 a.m. at the corner of North Main & Northeast 8th Avenue.
