Freewater Square Activity Plaza
‘Freewater Square’ is our answer to the communities' request for more family entertainment and activies. The goal is to have ‘Freewater Square’ complete by Fall 2020.

We want to give people a chance to beautify their community in a fun, hands-on way. In making Downtown Freewater the Community Living Room, residents and visitors will be able to use the ‘Freewater Square’ plaza year-round as a family activity center for games, outdoor movie nights, music concerts, art installations, tournaments & incubator business opportunities.
Garrett Public Market
Through site visits and research, we have determined that a public market is proven to be the largest contributor to a successful downtown. This information fueled our organization to develop a public market on the empty lot at the top end of North Main next to Garret Packing. Our goal is to have a fully functioning permanent indoor/outdoor year round market place and activity plaza by 2025.
A perfect place for community events, a gathering place for our residents and a draw for visitors to our great town.
